Blogging A to Z: Genealogical Websites B

B is for

When Googling, if you find a family blog read it. It might be very useful but of course, check out the sources! There are blogs just for helping anyone with genealogy. The following has a good list of blogs to check out.

"GeneaBloggersTRIBE is a community of content providers supporting one another with expertise and encouragement as we share our family histories. Our members provide a wide variety of genealogy content across numerous platforms including blogging, vlogging, podcasting, and nearly all forms of social media.

GeneaBloggersTRIBE spotlights member content to spark interest and drive traffic to members sites. We inspire with content prompts and assist with technical support. We bring people together from all over the world with meet-ups at regional and national conferences."

"Billion Graves is the world's largest resource for searchable GPS cemetery data and is growing bigger and better every day. You can help by collecting headstone images from local and other cemeteries, and then by transcribing the personal information found on the images."

These are websites I know, have used and found helpful. There are many more.
