Evernote: F for Format the text

Font Formatting 

When typing in a note you can format the text. You can change the format while typing or afterwards.

Format text as you type
1. Click on the formatting you want to use to turn it on. 

2. Type in the text you want in that format.

3. When done typing click on the formatting to turn it off.  


Font choices in order the icon appears
Font
Font size
Text color (CTRL D)
Bold (CTRL B)
Italic (CTRL I)
Underline (CTRL U)
Strikethrough (CTRL T)
Highlighting (CTRL SHIFT H)

Format after text is selected
1. Select the text.

2. Click on the formatting you want from the toolbar.

Right click
1. Select the text you want to change the formatting of. 

2. Right click over the text. The following menu appears.


3. Select Font. (CTRL D) The following window appears.  

4. Select the font, style, size, color, and/or effects.

5. Click OK (in the top right hand corner). The font is changed.

Paragraph Formatting 

The following icons on the toolbar for formatting paragraphs are:
  • Bullets
  • Numbering
  • Check box
  • Alignment
  • Quote (indents paragraph)
  • Remove Formatting
